SJ Pottery LLC is a limited production studio producing traditionally inspired redware, salt glazed stoneware and whatever else catches our fancy.

With every piece our goal is to combine aesthetics, craftsmanship and function.

We do not run from the words craft or craftsmanship, but strive to earn these well established historical terms for creating a functional form of art. Functional art to be used in and to enlighten your daily rituals and life.

Interpreting what has been done allows us to add a link to the existing chain of traditional pottery. In retelling the traditional story we offer a ware that feels familiar while still offering ourselves a personal voice with the creative process.

Our hope is that our ware melds with and adds an interesting fresh addition to your treasured favorites.

SJ Pottery LLC sells at both retail and trade shows as well as many retail outlets.

We will also entertain commission work on an individual basis, whether individualized one of a kind, quantities
